About the Teacher

Ajahn Aranavihari was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka 1959. He was ordained at Na-Uyana Forest Monastery in October 2003. He was trained in Pa-Auk Forest Monastery, Mawlamyine, Myanmar from February 2006 to July 2010 and was trained in Bodhinyana Buddhist Monastery in Perth from July 2011 to October 2013. Ajahn Aranavihari now resides at Newbury Buddhist Monastery, Australia.

Weekend Retreat Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend a retreat.

Registrations open at 5:15pm on Fri 20 Feb with a light supper offered at 6:30pm.
An introduction and welcome to the retreat will take place at 7:45pm.
Retreat concludes at 3:00pm on Sun 22 Feb.
